The next stop on our Peru Hop journey is Paracas Peru, the home of Islas Ballestas and Paracas National Reserve Peru! After getting a good night's sleep, we wake up, have breakfast, and go on a tour of Islas Ballestas - commonly known here as "The Poor Man's Galapagos" - a good description. Here, we see hundreds of thousands (maybe millions) of sea birds, dozens of sea lions, and some cute Humboldt Penguins. A great couple of hours in an amazing place - and all for just $15 US each! Next, a free Peru Hop tour of the Paracas National Reserve. It's just outside the town - about 10-15 minutes away - but it's like going to a completely different world.
