It can get quite lonely here at rock bottom. What are you waiting for? It's about time you begin your Ascent. It started with a long creepy droning pad, then one thing led to another, and now I have a song to show for it! Tonally it feels kinda similar to Hanging Heart that I did a while back, but leaning a lot more to the dramatic side. Of course, after messing with the tempo halfway through, the tone ended up changing to something different but still similarly dramatic. Like a lot of my music, I ended up incorporating melodies and tidbits from other unfinished songs I've made in the past. It makes it feel like all my music is part of some huge saga of interconnected stories or something. :0 As for why there's a guy standing in a windy cloudy place and looking up at a light, that's because while working on the song I ended up associating it to this one half-formed videogame story I thought up of a while ago. It's one of those stories that are fun to think about and develop in your head, but probably won't ever see the light of day. I'm more than satisfied having a song that came out of it, but if you wanna come up with your own stories and ideas about the song and drawing, well, that's what this is here for!
