IS PSYCHO LAS VEGAS OVER??? (DANZIG, DOWN, HIGH ON FIRE, ACE FREHLEY, ABBATH, MISFITS, etc. etc.)

Psycho Las Vegas, "America's Rock n' Roll Bacchanalia" is... was (???) a multi-day heavy metal festival originating in California in 2013 celebrating doom, sludge, stoner, death, grind, black and at times bands outside common metal sub-genres like industrial, synthwave, chill, etc. In summer 2015, it moved to Hard Rock in Vegas where it stayed until 2019 before calling Mandalay Bay home. Obviously in 2020, no fest took place so the psychosis resumed in 2021 (this was the first year I went). 2022? It moved to Resorts World. BUT THEN for 2023? THERE WAS NO 2023 edition. Instead (and here's where like, it might start to suck),.... "Psycho X" would be postponed til 2024. That was certainly suck news but, hey, shit happens, right? Of course. BUT NOW THOUGH, as many have been waiting eagerly for news about like, you know, how the lineup's shaping up, the destination, etc. etc., a fellow psycho (concert goer) reached out to management for answers and was told, sadly, REFUNDS would soon be issued automatically to all current ticket holders for '24 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 The exchange (Instagram DMs) was shared in a PSL Facebook group on Friday, 1/19. NOW, I'd like to stress here in this description as I do in the video, that an announcement from the company has not yet been issued. BUT I MEAN, A DM FROM WHOEVER RUNS THEIR OFFICIAL INSTAGRAM IS PRETTY OFFICIAL, YA KNOW???? IDK man, that is REALLY, REALLY saddening to hear. I only got to go to 2 Psychos but I absolutely, AAAABBBBsolutely LOVED this festival. I consider myself fairly articulate and able to describe feelings well but like... IDK man, maybe sometimes in life like, some things are just too awesome (or bad of course, God forbid...) to fully describe. 🚨 SOMETHING I DO NEED TO MAKE CLEAR THOUGH that is VERY, VERY important is that I am positively NOT trying to like, scorn or call out the festival organizers at all. I have 0 knowledge pertaining to what they have been/or are up against that's preventing things from moving forward. Rather, the point of this video is to provide a summary; a partial list of many of the "heavy weights" Psycho was able to bring together on one bill, multiple years in a row to illustrate just how unbelievably awesome this thing was. And I cannot even IMAGINE the difficulty in coordinating everything and the kind of money required and just, all that, man. While only knowing this festival as an attendee, all I can tell you is simply, it... was... a BLAST, man, a TOTAL, AWESOME, AWESOME FRIGGING BLAST.
