Come and spend a beautiful fall day at Disney's second most charming Magic Kingdom theme park Disneyland Paris, formerly EuroDisney. This is one of my most treasured videos as I had always been impressed with the overall design of the park during construction and wasn't let down by all the changes the fabulous now retired Disney Imagineers put into the design of this park seen when I finally got to visit. It's as if they were trying to fix and adjust all the design flaws in the other Magic Kingdoms and I think they certainly succeeded. Sleeping Beauty's Castle is the finest castle they ever designed with an internal retelling of the fairy tale classic in stain glass and tapestry. And what castle doesn't need a real dragon underneath it? Also, the rethinking of the now very scary Haunted Mansion went far beyond that which is found anywhere else and is fitted seamlessly into the fabric of a redesigned and memorable Frontierland with a massive Big Thunder Mountain now on an island in the middle of the Rivers of America. All in all it makes the French seem more interested in our actual history than Americans are. Later after park closing at festival Disney we got to visit the many bars and restaurants designed to give a European audience a taste of "real" American culture. What a day!
