Today we are at the Ellerbach with ‪@kedexworld‬ and we have to muck out and feed the animals on both farms. We started by going to the local dealer with vans and flatbed trailer to pick up the piece of equipment that we gonna demo. When we arrived at the dealer we meet with Kedex and then we spoke with the manager. She got us Avant Series 750 loader with a high dump bucket, bale forks, and pallet forks for the demo. So we loaded it onto the flatbed trailer and transported it to the Kedex farm first. After we got there, we unloaded the loader and inspected it a bit more so we can see what it can do. Then we inspected all the animal pens that need to the mucked so we decided to split the jobs. Kedex will muck out the cow shed while I muck out the chicken coop and calf igloos. I did my part of the job pretty fast but Kedex took some time to muck out the cow shed. When the mucking out was done, we loaded the loader onto the flatbed trailer and we went to my farm where we did everything the same. Then we went to the local contractor to borrow some equipment that we need for feeding. We ended up getting Strautmann Verti-Mix 1702 SF Double to feed mixer and Kuhn Primor 3070 M straw blower. We attached a straw blower to my Deuzt-Fahr Agrotron 150.2 and Kedex jumped into the feed mixer and we headed back to his farm. When we got back to the farm, I loaded the ingredients into the feed mixer with Avant Series 750 while Kedex made sure we had the right amount of ingratiates. We ended up putting two hay bales, half the bale of straw, half the pallet of mineral feed, and one and a half bales of silage. After the feed was mixed, we feed it to the cows inside the cow shed. Then it was time to bed the cows and for that job we used a tractor and straw blower. Kedex drove the tractor and straw blower and I loaded straw bale in the straw blower using Avant. When we got the cows fed on Kedex Farm, we moved to my farm and we did everything the same. After we got the animals fed, we parked the machines and then we decided to take a coffee and lunch break at my house and then returned the equipment we borrowed.
