My Favourite Day-Hike In Canada! Hiking "The Crack", LaCloche Mountains - Killarney Provincial Park.

Listed as one of the best hikes in North America, "The Crack" trailhead in Killarney Provincial Park is an absolute "Must See"!! This is my favourite day-hike in all of Canada, the views are simply amazing, but what makes it my favourite, is the challenging last 2 kms. This trail is so much fun to climb! It is classed as extremely difficult, so keep that in mind, but I have seen all ages from 5 to 75 at the summit. So don't let it intimidate you, and just enjoy the challenge - you will be glad you did it! To access the trail, take the #637 Highway south west off of the #69 Highway (Trans-Canada) about 30 minutes south of Sudbury. Then continue on the #637 for about 30-40 minutes. The trail marker will be on the right (north). There is a daily park pass which you can pay with a credit card in the parking lot. *Note: This trailhead is not at the main entrance to Killarney Provincial Park.
