This is a fan-made remix of the brilliant single by The Lords of The New Church that was released in 1983. "Dance With Me" reached number 85 in the UK and remained in the chart for 5 weeks - "Dance With Me" was written by Stiv Bator (RIP) and Brian James. I believe this was The Lords of The New Church's biggest hit in the UK. Thanks to Brian James for letting me post this - much appreciated. The Lords of The New Church are English/American gothic rock group formed in 1982 and stopped in 1989. Considered as a supergroup, members previously play in 1970s punk bands like The Damned, The Dead Boys, Sham 69 and Barracudas (Source - Discogs as at 26th March 2024). The Lords played live at the Vive Le Rock Awards last year with Mike Monroe on vocals.    • Lords of the New Church (feat. Michae...   I remember hearing this song for the first time on "The Killer Lords" album that was released in 1986 and I was instantly hooked by the melodies and the overall feel of the song. It should have been a much bigger hit in the UK, but I am assuming it didn't get the airplay it deserved. I certainly never heard it on the radio - maybe I was asleep at the time. I prefer the original version because it has a more organic sound, however, I have done this remix as I wanted to understand how the song was arranged and also to do a synth oriented version.
