Thanks Brian, good catch! So, we're going to have to test this rig again on comp-legal tires. I guess it'll have to get its own video, but it's a point worth making. I don't know what happened but these tires are faulty - they're meant to be comp legal, according to the 4.75" label, but this is clearly not the case. I've emailed Vanquish about it, so, I'll get back to you! A later edit: now I've thought about it, we're talking a difference of 5mm at most, and that's before the foams compress a bit and the rubber wears down a bit, so it ends up being about right.
