SimpleSetups12: Roland S-330 - Jungle (Ruff)

Easy nuh. Dis a ruff. The first thing I came up with when checking out the S-330 approx. a year ago. Simple arrangement using renoise as sequencer. Due to its limited memory almost everything has been sampled at 15kHz. Later I got frustrated with the S-330's kinda sloppy timing so I outsourced the breaks to the S1000 which worked great. Even later I completely lost interest and scrapped the whole thing. A week ago I stumbled across the S-330 only version and though it wasn't that bad. I could just call it ruff and upload it anyway :D So I hooked up the 330 searched for the floppy and took some shots. The breakbeat has some shaker tings that sound pretty ear piercing in my car. I tried to tame it as much as I could with some dynamic EQ. Also I did boost quite some highs in post since it all being sampled at 15k it sounded pretty dark. I'm not exactly sure what preset on the midiverb2 I've used. I think it was 47, not sure tho... Most of the delays are done with midi/velocity or looping+release And yeah, for some reason the VGA output video starts to lag a bit after a while. dunno why... whatever more serious stuff coming soon ;) ...
