Maintenance-of-way track Vehicles are seen getting tied down on a side spur along the Kankakee, Beaverville, and Southern Railroad by Purdue Airport in West Lafayette, Indiana. This is at Airport Road. This is an NS crew that was doing work on the track on the east side of the Wabash River bridge, which is part of an interchange with the KBSR. The track that the track vehicles get parked on is part of an old 1.25 railroad spur that curved through the Purdue Campus and went to a locomotive research lab and power plant long ago. This is on September 18, 2023 at about 4:42 P.M. ET.
