FAIRY TALES AND FANTASY WITH CONTEMPORARY PROGRAM Thurs.–Fri., Jan., 29–30, 7:30 p.m. BYU Theatre Ballet performs highlights from with selections from Cinderella act 1, Snow White and Prince Pas de Deux, Sleeping Beauty act 3, and concludes with three contemporary premieres “Virtues’ Oddity” by Alexandre Munz, and works by Shani Robison and Ihsan Rustem. FAIRY TALES AND FANTASY Sat., Jan. 31, 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. For the first time, BYU Theatre Ballet present its popular 90-minute touring show on campus with selections from Swan Lake Pas de Trois, Sleeping Beauty Prologue Fairies, and Cinderella Act I, Raymonda, Snow White and Prince Pas de Deux, and Sleeping Beauty Act III. Children will be invited to dance on stage during the performance withtheir favorite characters at both Saturday performances. PRICES: $15 $8 children 2+ The entire audience is invited to a Prince and Princess Party prior to each performance in the B. F. Larsen Gallery where audience members can meet the ballerinas and the fairy tale royalty. Always a delight, the pre-show is for young and old to dress up in their royal costumes.
