12/16 - 12/19/96 Sonny is rushed to the hospital and is fighting for his life. He wakes up to find Brenda by his side and they share a close moment. Mike realizes that Brenda knew that Sonny was in trouble at the cemetery and she explains it is the same feeling she had when they were in Puerto Rico that something was wrong. Jason comes in and dismisses Brenda. Sonny and Jason talk about what happened and how someone set him and tried to kill him. Tom Hardy tells Sonny the whole story on what happened with their plan to fake Laura and Lesley's deaths. Mac comes in and starts to question Brenda about what happened. Jason finds Mike and Brenda sitting on the hospital steps and she and Jason get into about her hiding the evidence under the couch in Sonny's penthouse and he apologizes when she points out that she saved Sonny's life. Taggert also questions Sonny and is being rude and a bully. Sonny demands that Taggert does his job and find out who killed him. A sketch artist and brought in and manages to sketch a pretty good picture of the woman posing as a nurse at GH that set Sonny up. Jax comes back from Austria and is not happy to see Brenda by Sonny's beside.
