This week I'm back out match fishing and another chance to qualify for the Northern river Masters final on the River Don. I draw on the Earth Centre stretch of the River Don at Denaby/Conisborough. As this is deep river fishing my approach is a simple two pronged attack. Get some groundbait balled in, to fish the bolo rod over the top and leave it for around half an hour whilst I go out on the feeder fishing for bream. With the river low and clear it's likely to be a tricky affair and the feeder line will undoubtedly dry up so bolo fishing and presenting a running bait will most likely be the mainstay if I can get enough fish feeding in the swim.
