The standard Excel component tries to assign a data type for the columns (number, string, etc.) and sometimes gets it wrong, causing your package execution to fail. COZYROC’s component does not try to guess the data type and, therefore, handles mixed text and numbers in the same column without any problem. The standard Excel component requires you to use a SQL-like language to specify the columns and rows you want processed. COZYROC provides a point-and-click interface to specify this.
