In this episode we look back at our 2022 trip to Hondaafushi in the Maldives. Wee booked this as a package trip through a local travel agent for just under £3,000 for both of us. Part of having such a great price, meant that our flights were split rather than direct. We flew London to Abu Dhabi, after a 5 hour layover it was then on from Abu Dhabi to Mali. There we had a 6 hour layover before our 1 hour flight to Handmadu. A 10 minute super speedy boat ride and we were finally on the island. If you like waterspouts or just confident in the water, then the Maldives is a great place to visit. Equally if you just want to relax in the sun, this is equally a great place to relax and kick back. The Maldives often has a preconception of being an expensive place to visit, sure there are 5 star all inclusive reports that cost thousands more, but here you will see that doesn't have to be the case and the beauty of the Maldives is still there to behold.
