Make this Mutton Recipe in a simple, quick and easy method, at your home and share your experience with us in the comments below. Ingredients:- For Marination:- 500 gms. Mutton meat on bone 1 tbsp. Lemon Juice Salt to taste 1 tsp. Garam Masala Powder For Tempering:- 5 tbsp. Ghee 2 Bay Leaves 2-inch stick Cinnamon 2 Black Cardamoms 4 Green Cardamoms For Paste:- 1 cup Plain Yogurt 1 tsp. Asafoetida 3 tbsp. Kashmiri Chilli Powder 2 tbsp. Ginger powder 1 tbsp. Fennel powder Water as required Method:- In a bowl marinate the mutton by adding salt and lemon juice for 30 minutes. Heat a pan and melt ghee in it. Add bay leaf, black cardamom, cinnamon, green cardamom and the marinated mutton. Sear the meat until golden brown in colour. In another bowl mix the paste ingredients together with a whisk. Add this mixture to the seared mutton and mix thoroughly. Sear on high flame for 2-3 minutes. Add water and cover with a lid. Cook for 45 minutes on medium flame or pressure cook for 4 whistles. Turn off the flame and cover with a lid for 10 minutes. Mutton Rogan Josh is ready to eat!
