Welcome to Saint Mary of Zion in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, where Father Haile Malakot has spent decades shepherding a congregation of Rastafarians, and non-Rastafarians, who have chosen to follow in the footsteps of Ethiopian Emperor Haile Selassie I by becoming baptized Orthodox Christians. This is the Jamaican Orthodox Church, a unique branch of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church in the West.
