Hiii everyone, today i got some help from sissy ghina to cook her favourite food before she head back to Melbourne. we cooked Ikan bakar or grilled fish, but this is not ordinary grilled fish, this INDONESIAN GRILLED FISH, we use special marination with Indonesian herb and spices. I hope you enjoy my recipe today! IKAN BAKAR - INDONESIAN GRILLED FISH Ingredients : 4 pcs baby snapper (any white fish would do eg: pomfret, bream, barramundi. choose smaller size as we will grill the fish wholly . you can use any other seafood like prawn and squid) 1 pcs lemon/lime salt and pepper marination: 1 pcs onion/shallot 3 pcs garlic 2 cm turmeric/ 1 tsp 1 tsp coriander powder 3 pcs candle nut Busting : 2 tbsp margarine (melted) 3 tbsp sweet soya sauce dipping sauce : 1 pcs tomato 4 pcs thai bird chilli 1/2 onion/ 1 pcs shallot 3 pcs keffir lime leave 1/2 pcs lemon juice 2 tbsp sweet soya sauce 2 tbsp soy sauce Step by step : 1. blend all marination ingredients and add salt and pepper. 2. prepare the fish, take out the gills and scale, score the fish, squeeze lemon juice 3. add marination into the fish and give good massage for the marination get into the fish throughly 4. mix together melted margarine and sweet soya sauce for busting 5. prepare your charcoal. you can grill on electric bbq or oven as well 6. place the fish on the top the griller and wash with the busting, turn to the other side and do the same. grill for 3 minutes each side 7. slice thinly all dipping sauce ingredients, add the sauces, lemon juice, salt and pepper, mix well 8. serve the fish with rice, dipping sauce and fresh veggies/simple salad like cucumber and lettuce please try at home and happy cooking !!! check the video for the sambal recipe : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwxdP...
