Pooja Hegde's Radhe Shyam might not have delivered as expected but the actress received a lot of love for her performance as Prerana in the period saga. While the actress has not done too many films in Hindi, down South, she's a bonafide superstar - one who has made it completely on her own accord. Here, in this interview, Pooja gets candid about her journey - how Miss India served as a stepping stone for films but when she took the plunge, she was met with a lot of rejections and conditions. She reveals she had to let go off several films because of her contract on Mohenjo Daro and when she passed them on and the film didn't do as per expectations, she had no work for almost a year. Battling dejection, self doubt, she regained herself and delivered back to back superhits down South and that's where she found her fan base. While many still call her Buttabomma fondly, Pooja also has a few big films lined up in Hindi - Salman Khan's Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and Ranveer Singh-Rohit Shetty's next Cirkus. In the end, she also discusses trolling, media reports claiming that she had a fallout with Prabhas and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
