In this interview the Acholi paramount chief Rwot Onen David Acana II, has stood his ground against six other 'rebellious' clan chiefs led by the Rwot of Atiak Apire Richard Santo who have been calling for him to step down. The paramount chief insists that the Rwotship of the seven clan chiefs is questionable as some of them are illegitimate and are occupying those positions illegally. He has ordered for them to apologize and pay fines to the Acholi cultural institution. The crisis at the Acholi chiefdom started on the 20th of June when the rival chiefs led by Rwot Atiak and Rwot Patiko called for the Paramount chief to step down on allegations of corruption, illegal sell of the Acholi land among others claims.
