Ligier JS P217 LMP2 Endurance Sports Prototype at Monza - 600hp 4.2-Litre Gibson GK-428 V8 Engine

I've filmed this fast Ligier JS P217 Sports Prototype LMP2 class of the Eurointernational Group team during a Kateyama test day at the Monza racetrack. The car takes part in the ELMS (European Le Mans Series) championship and is powered by the Gibson GK-428 engine, a 4.2-litre V8 capable of developing 600hp and managed by an ECU - Cosworth MQ12Di telemetry. The gearbox is a sequential six-speed model TLS-200 manufactured by Hewland. Other technical features are a monocoque frame and bodywork in composite materials, double wishbone suspensions, adjustable shock absorbers on four different positions and AP Racing brakes. Il cambio è un sei marce sequenziale modello TLS-200 prodotto dalla Hewland. Altre caratteristi tecniche sono un telaio monoscocca ed una carrozzeria in materiali compositi, sospensioni a doppio braccio oscillante, ammortizzatori regolabili su 4 differenti posizioni e freni AP Racing.
