CAUSE WHOLOCK IS THE BEST INVENTION EVER. So I was never very good at making trailers, I don't have enough patience, lol. But this idea popped into my head yesterday while I watched that scene from "Hounds of Baskerville" where the amy guy jokingly mentions aliens and I just could not resist trying to tie it to Doctor Who :) I actually started with about 5 different plots and just kinda tried to see where it would go. Thankfully I think it actually rounded out into one plot quite nicely, though I know there are lots of loose ends (it's just the trailer, not the whole movie, I don't explain everything, lol), I hope you can kinda follow it with help from this description: Plot- Sherlock and John travel to a military base to free The Doctor, an "alien" that they heard about who supposedly knows about "the fall". After freeing him and his companion, Amy, Sherlock explains that Moriarty has given him a secret, one that will probably lead to his death or "the fall". The Doctor knows that it's the same secret that the Master gave him, the secret that led to his attempted death and imprisonment so that it would not be told to anyone else. Sherlock asks the Doctor for help and the Doctor tries to remind Sherlock that he used to be one of his old companions, Sherlock knew the Doctor as a child and has had his whole life affected by what the Doctor taught him, even though he doesn't remember the Doctor. The Doctor and Sherlock confront Moriarty about the events of the fall and the secret that they hold, as secret that releases the Weeping angels onto earth unless Sherlock and the Doctor can destroy the knowledge from their minds to cut the telepathic link to the angels. The Doctor has already faked his own death to destroy his secret and now he must help Sherlock fake his. Dialog- "You're to give me 24 hours it's what I've...negotiated." "Not a second more. I may have to comply with this order but I don't have to like it. I don't know what the hell you expect to find here anyway." "Perhaps the truth." "About what? Oh I see...the big coat should have told me. You're one of the conspiracy lot, aren't you? Well go ahead, seek them out: The monsters, the death rays, the aliens.." "You got any of those?...Oh just wondering." "Good luck, Mr. Holmes." "Suppose there was a man who knew a secret." "Technically Baskerville's an army base so I guess they've always been keen to keep people out." "A terrible dangerous secret that must never be told." "If it's alien it's ours." "You're building me the perfect prison." "How would you erase that secret from the world, destroy it forever before it can be spoken." "Is there something wrong sir?" "Well I hope not, Corporal, I hope not." "It's just that we don't get inspected here you see, sir, it just doesn't happen." "Ever heard of a spot check?" "If I had to, I'd destroy the man." "And it still won't me enough...and silence will fall." "It's gonna start very soon, Sherlock...the fall. Don't be scared. Falling is just like flying except there's a more permanent destination." "The Doctor will fall." "I've never liked riddles." "Learn to...cause I owe you a fall, Sherlock." "You're a Doctor." "We're best friends." "What do you mean?" "We-we traveled together we had adventures. You grew up with a time rift in the wall of your bedroom, you can see what others can't, you can remember things that never happened!" "Once you rule out the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be true." "Sherlock!" "Before I go I'd like to know why we have to die." "People say there's no such thing as coincidence. What dull lives they must lead." "Of all things this I find hardest to believe. Why? Would you invite your friends to see your death?" "I had to die...I didn't have to die alone." "Look at me. I'm afraid, John...Afraid." "As long as there's been something in the corner of your eye, or creaking in your house, or breathing under your bed, or voices through a wall..." "It's here...it's in here with me..." I hope that's not too confusing :p There are a lot more details I could put in, but I won't for simplicity's sake, lol. The plots of the two shows are so similar that I almost felt like I was cheating with how well it all went together. And yes, many gifsets on tumblr inspired me for different scenes ;) Also, I was trying to make it look like a real trailer, so I just pulled together some gibberish at the end for the credits screen, don't look too far into it.
