Judas Priest - Rock Forever - Guitar Cover Track 2 from the fifth Judas Priest studio album Killing Machine (or Hell Bent For Leather) released in November of 1978. A great song from a great album, which was my early introduction to the world of the mighty Judas Priest. I actually won the vinyl of the album via a call-in to a radio station ("caller number 10 right now!") that fall, just prior to starting 9th grade, and have been a fan for life ever since. I'd also see them live twice for the first time(s) the following year, in 1979, which confirmed my long-standing opinion that Judas Priest is the greatest heavy metal band that ever was. There's really not a bad song on this album, and this is one we'd cover in a few bands I was in. I've watched a lot of sub-par covers of this one, and I think it's because of the difficult harmony solo section. Wasn't easy to figure out, I must say, but I think I've got it right. Tuning is standard "A". I'm doing these cover videos purely for my own enjoyment - while I write for several upcoming planned projects that should hopefully take form this year. Thought I'd share for anyone interested. I figure them out by ear, so any mistakes are solely my own. I think they're mostly right. Cheers.
