ABOUT ME: I seek to make original music. Surprise, caress, bring a message of hope and softness. I seek to honor my influences and toast my culture. My greatest desire in life is to share my creative essence and help people through music. I think that when we are authentic in the composition and in the expression of this authenticity, we create a very interesting bridge that is quite revealing/healing for both the audience and the artist. A true catharsis. I like to feel life through energy, vibration, frequencies. It's like that too, my favorite way to tune in to the natural process of the universe: movement. ABOUT THIS SONG: ¨Com a bola no pé¨ was born at the foot of the football field where my son Luca trained for a few years with his team. There, in some of his practices, I would take the guitar and play it while rooting for the best moves by Luca and his friends. Away from Brazil for over 15 years, I strengthened my ties with my native culture and this culture was what motivated me to move forward and still have a goal today. This song is the very representation of the Brazilian ¨mistureba¨ (in the best of senses). It's that dish of food that goes from salad to beans to fruit. A general summary of rhythms and rehearsed plays of the yellow/green (canarinha) school. The fun and swinging lyrics of my brother and songwriting partner Rafael Mourão, once again highlight our need to show the world this loving vision that we have of society and unity, above all. Ali, em alguns de seus treinos, eu levava o violão e ficava dedilhando ele enquanto torcia pelas melhores jogadas do Luca e dos amiguinhos dele. Longe do Brasil há mais de 15 anos, fortaleci meus laços com minha cultura natal e essa cultura foi o que me motivou a andar pra frente e ter um objetivo ainda hoje. Essa música é a própria representação da ¨mistureba¨ brasileira (no melhor dos sentidos). É aquele prato de comida que tem desde salada, passando pelo feijão e chegando na fruta. Um resumo geral de ritmos e jogadas ensaiadas da escola verde amarela. A letra divertida e gingada do meu irmão e companheiro de composições Rafael Mourão, marca uma vez mais a nossa necessidade de mostrar ao mundo essa visão amorosa que temos de sociedade e de união, acima de tudo.
