Newest Addition to the Studio | The Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K G2

This video is just a quick reveal of the newest addition to the studio: the Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K G2. It is no secret that I am a huge fan of Blackmagic Design, their hardware, cameras and software packages. I mean, DaVinci Resolve: FREE, alone this is an amazing gift to the world. I purchased my first Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K in Oct 2021, and fell in love with it immediately. With that came a full Studio license for DaVinci Resolve, which took me a while to get used to (Adobe Premiere slave for decades) and I am still learning even today how to better improve my workflow. Resolve is pretty amazing. Also in my BMD pile is an ATEM Mini 4-channel switcher which I have not used as much as I had hoped yet, but I'm still terrified of Livestreaming :) so maybe this year. All of this to say when it came time to replace the GoPro Hero 9 camera, I found that BMD released the Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 in late 2023, and I preordered one right away. If this tiny camera turns out to be as amazing as I expect, I am likely going to buy at least 1 more for my studio/live sessions. This will give me 3 BMD cameras and a Desktop or iPhone feed to do just about anything I want.
