Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday! Today, I want to take you on location and show you how and where you can get started when drawing a scene on location. Also known as Urban Sketching. I took a picture of the process every two minutes. I did that instead of filming it. Seeing the process in increments like that, instead of witnessing the drawing growing on video, helps you to understand how I built this drawing. Of course there aren't any rules, when it comes to capturing your view. Next time I would probably take a completely different approach. There is not one way to do this (and isn't that awesome?) I am also discovering the downsides and the upsides of a small sketchbook that I finally took off the shelf and cracked open to use.
