Presto Flipside Belgian Waffle Maker--Making Waffles

In this video I conclude my review & demonstrate how to make waffles in the Presto Flipside waffle maker. I used the "Classic" recipe provided in the user manual that came with the appliance. Here is the recipe: Classic Waffles 2 c. All Purpose Flour 1 T. Sugar 1 T. Baking Powder 1/4 t. Salt 1--3/4 c. Milk 2 Eggs 2 T. Vegetable Oil Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Whisk milk, eggs, and oil in a medium bowl. Whisk milk mixture into dry ingredients just until dry ingredients are thoroughly moistened. Preheat waffle maker. Pour 1 c. batter onto the center of the bottom grid. Close top and flip waffle maker. Bake until brown, about 4 minutes. **To keep waffles warm and crisp, place finished waffles in a 225F. oven directly on the oven rack for 10-12 minutes.
