Amex Trifecta - A Powerful Setup (But Not Worth It?)

The Amex Trifecta might be one of the best credit card setups in terms of value for the right person, but in this video I explain why the 3 American Express credit cards in the Amex Trifecta are not for everyone. Here, I talk about both the good and bad of the American Express Trifecta so that hopefully you can make a decision as to whether you should have all, some, or none of these credit cards in your wallet. So first of all, the Amex Trifecta is typically made up of the Amex Platinum Card, the Amex Gold Card, and the Amex Blue Business Plus. Each of these credit cards have their own benefits and features, but what I’ve found is that there’s no real advantage to combining these cards together in a setup. Every credit card out of these 3 also earns Membership Rewards Points which can be really valuable, but those credit card points are only worth it if you plan to use them for travel and not cash back. Hopefully this video will help to explain what exactly the Amex Trifecta offers so that you can make a decision on what cards you should look to get. But as always, what works for you is not going to work for everyone. Make sure you do your own research on these Amex credit cards before you look to get them, but they can be really powerful if they do make sense for your situation!
