#2 Master Walkthrough Spring 4-5 [Harvest Moon: Back to Nature] [LONGPLAY]

[Pro tip: watch in 1.25x speed! It will feel much nicer.] This walkthrough follows the one-year merciless plan outlined by SkyRender in his legendary guide (https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps/4464.... Compared to my previous playthrough 3 years ago, this time round I have better grasp of the game mechanics as well as better video editing skills! So please enjoy the nostalgia. Also I played this with PAL version, the fps is slower, so I recommend to watch it in 1.25x speed. Timestamps: 0:00 Start 0:06 Spring 4 38:14 Spring 5 In the guide SkyRender outlined the tools upgrade plan as follows: Spring 6 for copper axe, Spring 9 for silver hammer, and Spring 29 for mystrile watering can. The footnotes said that it's theoretically possible to get watering can done on Spring 10 instead. Since we're doing rather well on money making and had 100% axe done on Spring 3, I decided to bring forward the tools upgrading schedule. With that the schedule becomes Spring 4 (axe), Spring 7 (hammer), and Spring 10 (watering can). Amazingly all these dates are Saibara's open dates (no Thursdays). We can't skip the hammer upgrade because we need to clear the field. Spring 10 is also the date of second batch of turnip harvest, as well as last cucumber watering day (because they will be ripe at Spring 11). We'll get back the watering can on Spring 13 which is just in time for the mass cabbage planting. The challenge is then to generate funds from mining for the tools upgrade, which is helped massively by the basket purchase. Also another challenge is to maximize the efficiency of getting 200% hammer and 400% watering can experience by Spring 7 and Spring 10 respectively.
