IMI Motorsports ** [Heat 1/Moto1] ** 6-19-2011

[5:00 - Click to go to the start] Happy father's day to all the dad's; I know mine is very supportive, when we need an extra hand for a spare tire or are in need of some help, he has been there all the way through. He's gone out of his way to help us in times of need, support us in times of duress, and provided the utmost level of support for me in this sport. Thanks Dad. James Cryer [997] running in heat 1 of Open Beginner with a broken ankle he sustained during a training day. If anyone thinks this is fast (doubt it, haha) then wait until the leg is healed and he gets confident enough in it to start jumping what he was the day of the crash. This is the only video of the IMI race from today, in the LCQ he got to the gate just as they were setting to take off and couldn't get his goggles or helmet cam on in time to go. Good jump off the gate in the LCQ, stayed in the front of the pack, but once people started roosting him in his goggle-less eyes he pulled to the side of the track and put them on, aware of the fact he had come to dead last, he picked up the pace and pushed to make the last qualifying position. In the Main Event [Moto 2] he turned the camera on, but it stayed on only long enough to get about 3 frames of footage before it shut off. In the main he put the hammer down on the start, pulling half way into the pack and over the first two jumps. When it came to the second turn a rider fell right in front of him, he ended up hitting the downed rider and being passed by the riders he passed on the start. Avoiding the second wreck in the next corner he advanced in position a little bit more. Riders fell during the course of the race and some got off the track and ended their race. We believe the race results in the main were wrong, because lots of people were confused by the results and were questioning if they were really that far up, or that far back. But as they stand [Moto 1 - 19th] [Moto 2 - 34th] [Overall - 35th] Shout-out to Austin Lobsinger who is in the hospital after a terrible crash on Saturday during practice. He is in critical condition and needs support from anyone who cares. We hope for the best Austin, good luck overcoming this.
