There is a piece of the United Arab Emirates completely inside Oman, which is completely inside the United Arab Emirates! I spent a day exploring an exclave of Madha - a small 75 sq. km. Omani territory of 3,000 people (of the Musandam Governorate) completely surrounded by the UAE (by Sharjah and Fujairah Emirates). Right in the middle of this Omani land is Nahwa, a second-order enclave (or counter-enclave), which is a part of the UAE. I got very curious about such a “donut” border anomaly in the Arabian Peninsula and couldn’t miss a chance to explore its every detail!
