Bosnia - S100 USA Tank works the Coal Mine - 2010 & 2011

Yugoslav built 0-6-0 tank locomotive number 62-020 was a locally produced version of the famous USATC S100 class which were used by the US Army all across Europe during and after the Second World War. This powerful little locomotive regularly hauled heavy coal trains on the Kakanj coal mine system in Bosnia & Herzegovina and was a huge draw for Western European enthusiasts in the early years of this century. Sadly, number 62-020 has since been withdrawn and scrapped. The scenes in this video were recorded by me during two visits to the site in 2010 and 2011.
