In the Spring of 2020, I started a project thats goal was to tell a story about the Aki No Kure Dojo, specifically the Judo Club, in Burlington's Old North End. The goal was to show an introspective view of a place that many people dont know about, by the nature of place and popularity. I hoped to show the value it brought to the community, through the practice, art, and "Way" of Judo. In March, COVID-19 had different plans. This is a refelction of the projects progress, and what happens when a school commits to trying to create closure for its students and faculty, amidst a pandemic that strecthes across the globe.
