DIY $50 Chaeto Reactor - Refugium conversion to a chaeto reactor DIY Style!

My refugium was doing an amazing job keep my phosphates and nitrates low..however i was short on space and wanted to do an in sump frag tank.. to remedy this i decided to build a DIY Cheato reactor to free up my sump chamber. The build used an old Vertex media reactor and some cheap smd strip lights from amazon: http://amzn.to/2tD21Gi LED Dimmer https://amzn.to/2qWPFJ4 Commercial Reactors https://www.saltwateraquarium.com/sea... I would recommend using a LED Dimmer as linked above so you light dont run too hot! i have heard of the odd story of a reactor cracking from heat. If you led strip is hot to touch.. use less wraps on your reactor or add in a dimmer switch and turn the power to them down a bit. Safety first!
