Tulsi Stotra O mother of the universe, O most dear to Lord Viṣṇu, I offer my obeisances unto You. From that Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Brahmā and other demigods are responsible for creation, maintenance and destruction. Obeisances to you, auspicious Tulasi, dear to Lord Viṣṇu. O goddess who bestows liberation, I offer my respectful obeisances unto you. May the tulasī tree always protect me from all calamities. Whether it is chanted or remembered, it purifies a human being. I bow my head to the goddess Tulasī, whose body is so beautiful. Sinful mortals who see her are freed from all their sins. The entire universe, moving and nonmoving, is protected by the tulasī tree. She kills the sins of sinful men by seeing them I offer my respectful obeisances unto the goddess of fortune, whose palms are exceedingly great in the Age of Kali. Women, prostitutes and others enjoy all kinds of happiness.
