Cushioning and comfort level are decent, as the forefoot Zoom unit makes it not too thin underneath. Very smooth transition from front to back, just not much of a heel compression at all. Traction works fine too, dust pick up is a concern so wiping is needed frequently. The outsole should be durable for outdoor use, and this is a very wide foot friendly shoe so I would even recommend going down a half size for the best fit.
