The Lumière Brothers - a legacy set in motion

I created this documentary for National History Day 2015. My documentary advanced through Regional, State, and State Final competition where it became a National qualifier. I took the documentary to National Competition in Washington D.C., and there it advanced to National Finals. In the end, my documentary on the Lumière Brothers was ranked 11th in the nation! This project involved a full year of research and hard work. I have learned a tremendous amount of information on my topic and on research projects in general. Special thanks to everyone who have helped guide me on this project such as my family, teachers, friends, research specialists, and professors. I couldn't have done this without their support. This film was also selected at the Iowa Motion Picture Association Awards and was given an Award of Achievement in 2015.
