Fancy Wooden Dice Tower- Segmented Turning - Woodturning

This was a challenge piece for Royal Order of Woodturners club. The parameters were that it had to fit within an 8 inch x 8 inch x 8 inch space and this is what I came up with. The dice tower itself segmented rings of maple and walnut. The tray is made up of walnut and one segmented ring. The inside stair piece is made up of oak pieces on a dowel. This was good practice for wood turning, segmented turning as well as problem solving for some design elements. The whole thing is finished with Waterlox. This dice tower is perfect for playing various board games that require dice rolling such as D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) or any number of other games which require rolling dice.
