Throughout the Second World War, there were a number of evil concentration camp guards who worked at camps such as Sachsenhausen, Auschwitz and Dachau. One guard who was executed following the end of WW2 was Ludwig Plagge, a man who was considered one of the main torturers of the camps where he worked. He was trained at Sachsenhausen and whilst here he developed many different physical torture methods that he would use upon the prisoners. He was known for being a brute, but then he was transferred to Auschwitz. Whilst at Auschwitz, he was in charge of Block 11 the torture block of Auschwitz, and he would have imprisoned many people inside of the standing cells. He would beat inmates regularly, but at the end of the war he was brought to the Auschwitz Trials and was accused of crimes against humanity. He was for his crimes sentenced to death, and he admitted many of the evils that he had done inside of the concentration camps.
