Tesla Model S Plaid HIDDEN Features and Details You DIDN'T Know About!

This year Tesla announced the Model S plaid; Elon Musk, Tesla's CEO launched the first 25 S plaids after many delays at their delivery event on June 10th. They are known to not just make a vehicle but to also bring innovation to the table. In this video, we are going to discuss Musk’s new announcement about the Tesla Model S plaid and how this vehicle could succeed or fail, Now, without further ado, let’s dive right into it! From the outside, not much has changed to the untrained eyes. It looks largely the same as a normal model S has for the past couple of years, but the interior is entirely new as well as the internals of this car. As usual, they are launching with their expensive model, the plaid model. It gets a wild zero to 60 in under 2 seconds, a quarter-mile of 9.32 seconds, a top speed of 200 miles per hour, and costs around $130,000, it's pricy but cheaper than other vehicles that can go nearly that fast, likewise, it is the fastest production car ever. It is nearly identical to the cheaper long-range model at $80,000. the difference here is the performance. The 2022 Tesla Model S Plaid's tri-motor powertrain was designed to meet two goals: going fast and re-establishing the Model S as the electric car standard just as multiple rivals finally start hitting the street. Although much talk defensibly centers on the electric Model S Plaid's 1,020 horsepower and 2.07-second 0-60 mile per hour performance, the power train isn't the only significant change in the updated Model S, the Model S Plaid's interior has been drastically updated to be more luxurious and comfortable than ever. From the outside, it is pretty the same. It has the same eight cameras covering the autopilot system, and it still includes a radar sensor. So, it's the same autopilot suite that we've seen for years on the model S. It has a beautiful panoramic glass roof, very similar to what the model Y has. It has the same door handles that retract and present themselves to you when you walk up to the car, but this time they are black, instead of being matte black, like they are on the model three and the model Y. Similar to the upcoming Model X, there are two different types of wheels for the Model S, there are these standard 19-inch wheels, which come with hubcaps called the Tempest wheels. And then there are 21-inch wheels for an extra $4,500. Similar to before, there is a large front trunk for extra storage, since there is not a traditional engine in this car, there's a lot of space in the back, thanks to the large hatchback. And there's the under-storage compartment as well. Comparing this car to the Model Y in storage space, it has all the same storage locations, but the model Y is just taller. If you need additional storage, the rear seats fold down at a touch of a button to open up this massive space in the back. Reportedly Tesla will be making a seven-seater version of this model S, but for now, they're only selling it as a five-seater. So, there are two seats up front and three seats in the back. As I mentioned before, the biggest improvements to this car are the interior, and it feels entirely new with three screens. The new screen on the model S plaid is fantastic. It looks incredible, the resolution is great it is way better than the one in the model 3 and Y. There’s also a full-screen shortcut: Clicking an icon along the top edge for an app that’s already displayed makes that one go full screen. Sometimes it’s easier than clicking that tiny little “expand the window” button in the lower corner. When you Press the tesla logo on the 17″ screen, it brings up an image of your car. Click the right-side “Menu” button on the steering wheel, select the phone icon, and your recent calls will appear on the right-of-speedo info display. While the right click-wheel can be used to pick and dial any entry. It has wireless controller compatibility that lets you game from any seat you choose to sit in. With the longest range and quickest acceleration of any electric vehicle in production, Model S Plaid is the highest performing sedan ever built. Both Long Range and Plaid powertrains, with updated battery architecture, are capable of back-to-back, consistent 1/4-mile runs. But what do you think?
