DCS CCIP 10 degree offset pop-up attack

Pop-up attacks are designed to deliver ordnance accurately while minimising exposure using terrain. Offset pop-ups allow the pilot to keep the target in sight throughout the attack. This demo is staring through the HUD as it results in a better image than recording VR. In addition during an attack, you should maintain your lookout scan, and move your head to keep the target in sight during the pop-up. While 10 degree offset pop-up attacks are used in real aircraft, this SOP is ONLY applicable in DCS and does not intend to replicate real-world procedure or TTPs. This is not a demonstration of 'correct' technique for you, or how you should aim to operate. Play the game whichever way you wish. The profile for this run was: 10deg Pop Mk82 Action Point - 4nm Pull-up point - 3nm Pull-down height - 1800' above tgt Offset angle - 3 degrees Release height - 1100' above tgt Release IAS - 400kt Min height - 900' above tgt DEBRIEF: As you will see, I made some of these numbers, and others I will have to come back for next time! The offset angle ended up being way too much. My main error was not sufficiently anticipating the pull-down height. This resulted in a being too high at apex, which in turn led to an egregiously incorrect offset angle and as a result, a high release. Thank goodness for CCIP!
