History of my L4/L5 herniated disc injury and an update three weeks post microdiscectomy surgery. My symptoms were always in back and left leg when it flared up...i was pain free 90% of the time but always felt it slightly in my back, flare ups were v painful and debilitating though and the last two weeks before surgery were the worst I've ever had especially in the AM. That's why I opted for surgery...I had no choice! PS: I called difene an antibiotic, it's not...my mistake. PPS: the cycle I'm talking about was actually 6-7K each way in and out of work.
