We stopped by the side of the road to have a cereal breakfast, ensuring our tummies were filled before continuing our journey to the small town of Paul Roux in the Free State. The road we travelled on into town offered a glimpse of the unique charm awaiting us in this remarkable place. From the historic church building to the iconic Postal Tree, the National Bank, and the Rock 1908 Pub & Grill. We also encountered many more fascinating landmarks like the old hotel and the Pink Tricycle shop, not to mention the site of the old inn where the horsemen of old changes the horses to continue along on their postal route.
