I decided to break out the A-20G-25 in War Thunder since someone has been asking me to play it for a long time in the comments! The A-20G-25 is a US Attacker that can take four 500lb bombs in the belly and has SIX 50 cal machineguns up front and 2 in a ball turret. By all means this should be a decent CAS plane for ground realistic battles but it doesn't really fair well. On the other hand, the P-38E is a high speed, high altitude fighter that's equipped with 4 .50 cals and a 20mm in the nose. However, due to the high penetration of the guns and the cannon... it actually performs MUCH better than the A-20 when it comes to stamina and longevity in a fight!
