The name of the technique shihonage translates into projection in 4 directions. Usually we practice the 2 basic versions: omote waza and ura waza, where the uke is projected in 2 different directions. But this technique can be also finished with a projection of uke in the remaining 2 directions. Or actually in any direction you would like to, by adjusting the steps and the angles.
