Dave called by this evening to share progress with his Commando Combat rebuild. He has had some of the donor engine and his original engine parts vapor blasted. The result is amazing. They look like brand new, possibly even better than they would have upon leaving the factory. And there's another parcel to unpack. This is the re-bored cylinder barrel to the next size (20 over standard). A broken fin has been very skillfully repaired and the barrel just needs a coat of paint to finish it off.
