A new tech was discovered with timing despawns by TheMCZombieSlayer. Basically, every 0.00 (for a single snapshot - so 0.00-0.05), the game does a check on a zombie to see if (1) the zombie is within 2 spawn zones of a player, (2) the player is facing the zombie (even if it's through a wall), and (3) the zombie has been damaged. If none of these requirements are met, the zombie will despawn. However, since it only happens for that 1 second out of every 10, it's now very easy to manipulate despawns by running from the zombies for 9 seconds and looking at them to prevent despawns for that brief 1 second window that you have to. With this I was able to get 41 kills with this unpap'd VR-11, though I also damaged the zombies at the end to prevent them from despawning, which can only be done if you're able to then kill those zombies with the waffe or something as zombies that are damaged can't despawn. You sorta have to do this more complicated setup in no power because the flinger isn't available without turning on the power.
