Mystery Motherboard from China: Salvage Chipset & BIOS Hacks

This motherboard is the ultimate combination of weird components, mixing-and-matching salvaged chipset and socket components alongside BIOS hacks from Russia. We were never quite sure what to do with it since it didn't have an obvious manufacturer, but we've traced it back to a set of strange components, a big BIOS modding scene. The motherboard is often branded as PlexHD, but ours technically isn't -- though it's all the same parts, it seems. We also found this LGA2011 "X79" / Q77 motherboard on AliExpress (not an affiliate link): https://geni.us/7xAn It's a fun, weird, inexpensive motherboard that was mostly purchased because we were in town (again, in March) and thought it'd be interesting content. We were right. Recommending it for actual use, however, is a different story. Like our content?
