This is designed to create a flat surface to put your knees into, eliminating the issue where you're trying to put your knee into a round tree. As a bonus, you can use the KPE to help you get around the tree. This eliminates the need to have Tree Steps in your setup. The KPE will make you want to sit your whole hunt, which helps you stay still and eliminate the risk of getting busted by deer. We used a one-piece aluminum design to create this flat surface. This design creates a simple and bulletproof design that will last forever. When using our included OCB strap, the tree brackets designed into KPE are designed to bite hard into the tree. The standoffs are even designed to nest with platforms that use a 1.25" post (Tethrd, Trophyline, and more), and we added a bungee system to the KPE to allow you to pack it into the woods seamlessly. You just run it around the platform and hook it onto the "T" feature to attach it to your platform. Like our Strap Stager design, the bungee system can even stage your KPE onto the tree. We chose to use an ultra-soft, low-density foam for the foam to provide ultimate comfort. It is weather resistant, too, as this foam is designed for outdoor applications.
