Installing Upgraded Intake Manifold on 4.7 Jeep, Dodge

A detailed description of how to install the 2008 and later 4.7L Intake Manifold in 2007 (8 spark plug V8's) and earlier Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Ram, Dakota, and Durango. This is the part number for the Intake Manifold 53034229AA and the same used in this video. The 53032761AJ is the manifold that came out in 2008 and was then replaced with 53034229AA in 2011. Both manifolds work great. Chrysler made small changes in 2011, I noticed that the runners and entrance are smoother on the later model. Note if installing the 08 and later intake manifold on a 4.7 with knock sensors make sure that the knock sensor wire harness points straight back to the rear of the engine or the sensor may make contact with the intake runner and the intake manifold will not properly aline with the cylinder heads.
